News for Alums and Recruits for Class XX

Class XX continues it's seven session, seven month program.  LMC has celebrated our 20th Anniversary Year with celebrations in October in Key West at the Southernmost House and in
February in the Upper Keys at Marker 88.  Our REALLY BIG 20th Celebration will happen on the evening of April 21st at Hawk's Cay Resort on Duck Key in the Middle Keys in honor of Class XX's Graduation!  Please mark your calendars and make your reservations now!  Details on the Homepage and the "20th Anniversary Events" link.

Leadership Monroe County is also excited about the success of our 2011 summer recruitment for Class XX.  The three recruitment socials were well-attended.  Many of our distinguished alumni were present along with current and past members of the board of directors.  A power point presentation was presented featuring highlights of our dynamic seven month program designed to connect leaders throughout our fabulous Florida Keys.  The socials are a terrific opportunity to meet some of the players in LMC and to learn more about our application process.  We are happy to announce that Class XX has been selected and they have begun their fun and transformative year.  We will begin the socials and application process again in June 2012, so if you are interested in applying for our program, we are interested in talking to you!

The dates and locations of this past 2011 summer socials were:

June 24 - Key West at the Westin

July 8 - in the Marathon area, at Hawk's Cay on Duck Key

July 15 - in Key Largo at The Big Chill (10400 Overseas Highway)

Please stay tuned for the dates and times for our 2012 ever-imortant recruitment socials in the lower, middle and upper Keys.
